Here, it engages intimately with a sophisticated sodium hydroxide absorption liquid, allowing for a comprehensive gas-liquid two-phase interaction. This full-scale contact spurs a crucial absorption and neutralization reaction, effectively purifying the gas. Following this, the now-clean acid mist exhaust gas is expertly dewatered and defogged by a state-of-the-art demister plate before it is smoothly discharged into the atmosphere, facilitated by a high-performance fan. Meanwhile, the absorption liquid is rejuvenated; it is sprayed down from the pinnacle of the tower, having been pressurized by a robust pump located at the tower's base, and then it gracefully returns for recycling at the bottom, ready to repeat the cycle.
